The wait is over. Everyone can now play with the Wilson Clash tennis racquet. Wilson calls the creation of this racquet “a revolutionary technology that makes Clash the world’s first racket intentionally engineered to bend with any swing style.”
I got a text from Tennis Zone Plus asking me if I wanted to be the first to demo this exciting new racquet. I jumped at the opportunity to take it out on the court.
I had a match scheduled with my long-time tennis rival. He also couldn’t wait to see this new tennis racquet. It was exciting to play with the Wilson Clash on February 15, the first day of its release to tennis players everywhere.
As a recreational player, I’m looking to hit the ball as hard as I can and make sure it goes deep on the other side of the net. I’m also looking to do solid volleys and drop shots when I come to the net. I like running around the court and need a racquet that can handle the needs of a player who might get off balance when running to get a ball back. I noticed a couple things about the Wilson Clash that I thought were pretty cool.
First, the Wilson Clash helped me deliver exceptional contact with the ball. It seemed as though I had more control and a bit more spin. Some shots surprised me. The contact of the racquet and the ball seemed to generate what my opponent called pop. I couldn’t hear the sound as much as my opponent could hear it.
I also noticed that my follow through seemed a bit more effortless. I managed to get the ball back without putting forth a lot of wasted energy in my swing. I had solid groundstrokes and powerful volleys.
This is definitely a remarkable tennis racquet. It is for anyone looking to improve their game with a new tennis racquet. I’d say go for the Wilson Clash!
